The software starts and I can read the lesson text, but none of the videos, sounds, or interactive content work at all. Attempting to use this content results in a very non-descript "script error" message. It's something reported elsewhere (including the Steam forum) yet there is no entry for it in eMedia's tech support datebase, and no clear fix. But let's be honest... such basic content like playable videos should not be a problem with a professional piece of software, should it?Submitted a support ticket but will likely just refund this and try something else. Very disappointed.EDIT:Apparently works if you install Quicktime on your system. I do not expect to have to install third-party software I don't want or need to be able to use a product. I would also expect this requirement to be detailed in the product description, the tech support, or within the product itself, as it can and will affect people's buying decisions. Poor product, poor info, poor support, so it's still a negative review from me. There are far better and more modern alternatives that don't make you jump through hoops.. This is excellent software so far. Sure, you can learn pretty much anything for free on the internet if you can find what you need. Here's why you should use this over the internet:This software taught me things I wouldn't have thought to look up how to do.The learning pace is very even and thought-out, you actually apply what you learned in the previous lesson to the current lesson, which gives you a good feeling of progress. It's fun, the program feels like it's from the 90's.With every lesson (where needed), there is an example and a beat, both at slow\/fast paces. The beat often includes other instruments playing the same notes as you are supposed to be, so not only do you sound awesome but you know exactly where you should be as you practice. Just remember, never skip over anything unless you can do it cleanly. Don't make excuses to yourself and move on to the enxt lesson if you're tired of the current one. Good luck!. I have used this app now for more than 70 minutes and did not find any problem. Everything works fine and is very clear to me, to play it on my guitar. I think i'm going to love this. Thanks to support steam as well!. Hey it is working for me, discount weekend, YES!. Hey it is working for me, discount weekend, YES!. The negative reviews above held me back in buying this for a bit, but I'm glad I got it.The information given is straight forward and easy to understand. Sure, it kinda looks like a CD-rom from the 90's but It works just fine for it's intended purpose, so who cares. I think it's funny.I've had no crashes or bugs at all after nearly 13 hours of running the software.Soundsamples work fine, video work fine.Bought this software in a Steam-Sale, it helped me get started with guitar. Playing together with a friend so now and then. I think it's money well-spent.Don't expect to learn guitar like Neo learns Kung Fu in the Matrix. Doesn't look like you'll end up being a rock god after you finish with this software, but from the exercises given you'll build a good foundation in skill and techniques..
